Hired :)

In the middle of my healing process, I actually got a call from one of the construction company asking me if I could come to their office for a job interview. I hesitated at first because my eyes are not yet completely healed but  in my mind I know I just can't let that opportunity pass without even trying.

Around 11am I arrived to their office . I was not that confident because of my eyes but I guess am just lucky because they are super nice and accommodating. The boss told me about the job and the contract.

And the next thing was.. I signed the contract! YAHOO! When i told my co-nurses about the news, I know deep in their hearts they are saddened because i would be leaving them. But I know that they are also happy for me, because I really wanted to take a bigger step, to take risks in terms of my career. I know that it's about time to come out on my comfort zone, meet new people, new surroundings and new learning experience :)

Thank you Lord for this HUGE blessing, I now that I wouldn't be hired if it's not really meant for me. So thank you for choosing me. 

Oh not to forget from being a Public Health Nurse, I am now a Project Nurse/ Safety Nurse :)

Thrift Haul

Am currently suffering from conjunctivitis (sore eyes/ pink eyes) right now that's why i can't take some of my OTTD post. This is actually my very first time to encounter conjunctivitis, that's why i made a promise to myself to become extra careful next time to never encounter this again. It's kinda depressing actually. I can't go out because my eyes are swollen but still thank God because slowly am recovering.

On a lighter note, i just want to share to you some of my thrift finds waiting for their "right" moment to shine. hihi

Long lost Sister :)

Been seeing a lot of platform shoes this days. According to Wikipedia: Platform shoes (also known as disco boots) are shoes, boots, or sandals with thick soles at least four inches in height, often made of cork, plastic, rubber, or wood (wooden-soled platform shoes are technically also clogs). They have been worn in various cultures since ancient times for fashion or for added height.

What i love about platforms is that it give instant height without hurting your soles. But it's not easy to walk with these shoes, women who wear platform shoes, high heels,  are in very real danger of falling.

 I believe that we don’t have to wear too expensive things just to be in and to look good. Right? It’s how 

you carry yourself that’ll make you look fashionable. So when my cousin Helena saw these shoes at a thrift shop she immediately told me the good news that these shoes are on sale and it's actually my size. It's original price was actually P480.00 but scored it for only P190.00 (60% sale) bwahahaha. I was really grateful to Helena because she never went home without getting this for me, she looked all over the shop just to find these babies :)

I goggled about this shoes and found at that it's actually a replica of Jeffrey Campbell Vogue Clogs. I think my shoes are their long lost (adopted) sister. hahahahahaha

Wool on the Wall

If i were to built a house, a wall of red blocks would definitely be put into consideration. If that happens looking for a place for my outfit post would be as easy as one-two-three.

I love this I thrifted top I got when i was in Macau. This is the only wool I got it my closet that's why i love it to bits!

Operation "Tuli"

Aside from being a girl who love to dress up, am actually a registered nurse by profession. I work as a public health nurse on our health center. Being a public health nurse gives me the opportunity to interact with different people in our community and some of them even addresses me as a doctor, haha.

As I was telling on my previous post I got busy from our operation tuli (circumcision). I love activities like this because it happens only during summer. sometimes I love those busy days :)

Crochet for Summer

Finally after several days, a decent outfit post! haha. How are you  doing ladies? i got busy from our "Operation Tuli" (circumcision) that's why I haven't updated my blog. Btw this photos are some some of backlog photos last April, if only i could go hit the beach every once in a while, I would do it because of the scorching heat.
