Define Simple

As a person who blogs about fashion or some call it a "fashion blogger" how would you define a simple OTD outfit? Mine would be this photo. A plain polo, jeans, bag and a pair of shoes. Actually I would love to collect more basic tops like this polo, because whenever am in hurry I find it difficult to easily dressed up. It's not that I don't have anything to wear, it's just that I think I lack some of the basics I should be having on my closet :)

this button down polo actually had some slit so I decided to add a DIY bow to fix it :)

Wearing: Thrifted Top: Mango, Jeans: from a local boutique, Bag: borrowed from Mom, Platforms: thrifted from Baguio:)

How about you? How would you define a simple outfit? I'd love to know :)

You've Got Mail!

This week I received two packages I won from a give away. Okay I'll admit one of the best part of blogging is being able to join give away from fellow bloggers! haha. who doesn't want freebies right? haha

The first package came from  Miss Sarah of Fashion Eggplant, I swear I went gaga when I first read her good news. Am happy not just because of those awesome stuffs, am happy because it's from Miss Sarah. She's actually one of my favorite blogger because aside from her distinct sense of style and brilliant DIY projects, I can also feel that she's really a done to earth person.
The package is consist of one shoulder bag, 3 branded accessories and 2 wallets/wristlets from Gifts Ahoy :)
For the 2nd package, it's a sequined detachable collar from Flatterbuy hosted by Miss Aisa of Drowning Equilibriums. I also love this give away because I really want to have a detachable collar and Miss Aisa made it pretty possible for me haha. She's actually one of the most generous blogger that I know and I love her because her style is always something new :)

PS: I can't wait to wear this all soon! Thank you again Miss Sarah and Miss Aisa. You made me the happiest girl ever haha :)

Vintage Love

"(...) Vintage [clothing] is not only glorious and stylish, it's also the way forward in terms of recycling. Whenever I go into great vintage stores, I wonder why we ever buy new things."
- Thandie Newton (British actress)

I love vintage, am talking about this top I got months ago from my mom's closet, too bad she can't remember where did this top originally came from. If you're wearing vintage, the chances on stumbling upon someone with the same piece are slim which barely means that you'll definitely stand out from the crowd.

One more thing, aside from you'll save money from old clothes vintage is unique and available in limited edition, and that prevents your style from becoming mainstream.
what i love about this top would definitely be the pattern of it, i don't even have to accessories :)

on a different note, this photos were taken during our last top on Baguio, with bff Sittie and photographer Teesai :)

Something Tribal

I love these new pair of shorts I thrifted weeks ago. It's actually longer but decided to cut it off because it would be more wearable if I would turn it into shorts/skort.  I love this trend because tribal prints are often oversized and strong which means it works best with simple ensembles.

PS. I't really summer, the weather is smokin' hot! I just wanna dive in a pool right now. :)

The Mansion Walk

Yey for the long weekend! I still have to go to work till Wednesday morning and am uber excited for movie marathons, read some books and go swimming! and also we should definitely not forget the true essence of Holy Week. Let us always acknowledge Him in everything we do.
