Complete Opposite

This is actually the complete opposite on how i look like during workdays. Instead of knits, skirt and platforms, what I wear for work is a simple shirt, pants, hard hat and big black safety shoes! Picture a girl on a construction site, well that's me! haha. So I try to dress up every Sunday when I go to church for me to not to forget my pasosyal side haha.

Fly me Away

About a week ago, these red platforms finally flown into my shoe rack and I can’t be any happier. When I first saw these platforms I knew right then that we meant to be! But I didn't purchase it right away because I have already bought another pair. (cost cutting, haha)

It took me two weeks to go back at the thrift shop because of the tight schedule and from the moment I stepped inside I immediately went to look for it. And I was right, we were really meant to be. She was just right there, same spot, waiting for me to bring her home. :D

So what do you think? Isn’t she gorgeous? Bad ass baby :D

Shoe Thrift

Last week I got to visit one of my go-to thrift shops, and to my surprise I saw all these pretty awesome shoes and platforms. So why don't you take a look and you'll know what I mean. :D

They all look gorgeous right? so here's the trick, guess what shoe I purchased among all of those! I only got a pair because am beginning to be more sensible when it comes to thrifting! :D

Long lost Sister :)

Been seeing a lot of platform shoes this days. According to Wikipedia: Platform shoes (also known as disco boots) are shoes, boots, or sandals with thick soles at least four inches in height, often made of cork, plastic, rubber, or wood (wooden-soled platform shoes are technically also clogs). They have been worn in various cultures since ancient times for fashion or for added height.

What i love about platforms is that it give instant height without hurting your soles. But it's not easy to walk with these shoes, women who wear platform shoes, high heels,  are in very real danger of falling.

 I believe that we don’t have to wear too expensive things just to be in and to look good. Right? It’s how 

you carry yourself that’ll make you look fashionable. So when my cousin Helena saw these shoes at a thrift shop she immediately told me the good news that these shoes are on sale and it's actually my size. It's original price was actually P480.00 but scored it for only P190.00 (60% sale) bwahahaha. I was really grateful to Helena because she never went home without getting this for me, she looked all over the shop just to find these babies :)

I goggled about this shoes and found at that it's actually a replica of Jeffrey Campbell Vogue Clogs. I think my shoes are their long lost (adopted) sister. hahahahahaha
