Denim Dress

So how is it going dolls? Mine was a bit of a whirlwind but let's not talk about that today. Been seeing a lot of denim stuffs lately and I can't help myself not to get envious on every pieces I see. If I was not mistaken I haven't visited thrift shops for almost a month and geez it was hard you know, like you think of every piece you might have purchased if only you took the time to visit the shop. But the long wait is over! Two weeks ago I got this denim dress together with 3 tops, one backpack and one flats! Yeeyy, now am a happy puppy :D

I love every details of this dress :D

PS. How about you? What's your latest ukay find? :D

Embroidery

It's summer time and it's the best time to show off  your cute pretty rompers and dresses. I personally love rompers because it's one of my "go-to" clothes specially on summer. What I love about it is that its very lightweight and it looks really cute. What I don't like about it and I know you don't like either is that it's not nature friendly specially when you're in a hurry to pee, hubad all the way na hahaha

Almost Here

It’s almost summer, and I can feel it. Well come ‘on I know you’re feelin’ it too, and it’s the perfect time to wear skirt, shorts and florals! I don’t own a wide variety of printed tops so hopefully I’ll be able to maximize all my colorful tops this summer . Actually I don’t fret a lot because there’s always  a place (ukay)  where I know I can find the latest trends this coming summer :D

how do you find this denim skirt? I love the studs in it :D

Some Sort of a Denim

This is some sort of a denim dress, well not literally denim but the color and the texture is somewhat denim. Okay enough with that word.

Isn't it great when you find something awesome the least you're expecting it?  Am taking about this dress, i love it because aside from it's super cheap, it has a cute collar detail plus the color is somewhat perfect :D

Relaxed :)

At last, I've had my much needed break. Last weekend i had the chance to go the mall with my cousins, spend a night out with them and then coffee date with my co nurses last Tuesday. Because of too much work load I almost forgot what it feels like to go out and spend some "good" time that's why I consider this week a really awesome one so far.

And to start the month, I decided to post this photos taken last Sunday. I guess this is one of the most "relaxed"  outfit so far. The "lakas maka highschool look "D

At the Cross :)

Let's start with some intro:

Bataan Peninsula was the scene of harsh fighting between American-Filipino forces and the invading Japanese forces. On April 9, 1942, the Bataandefenders surrendered to the Japanese. About 70,000 U.S. and Filipino soldiers were captured.

The Shrine of Valor (Dambana ng Kagitingan) atop Mt. Samat in Pilar was built in 1966 in memory of those soldiers of World War II.

It consists of the “Colonnade”, a marble capped structure with an altar, esplanade and a museum. Inside the museum you can learn more about the battle of Bataanand the Death March that followed. The captured US & Filipino soldiers were forced to march more than a hundred kilometers from Bataan to Tarlac.

Where: Mt. Samat is only 130 km away from Manila and travel time is about two to three hours by land and an hour by ferry.

Meet my two tough brothers with their awkward pose haha :)
Finally got to show you my fringe booties! actually I got this from one of the thrift shops for almost months now, I just can't find the perfect timing on when will i show it you . And this mountain is just perfect for my cute little booties :)   I guess you'll be seeing these boots more often from now on..

Sorry for those too posy look, hahaha. Have noticed the length of the denim jumper are uneven??  I wasn't aware that I folded the left side a bit higher than the other haha :)

A Fun Road-trip :)

Went to a super fun road-trip with the rest of  my colleagues and midwifes.. We headed at Ninoy Aquino Museum in Tarlac..

The museum was originally built in honor of the late Senator Benigno "Ninoy" S. Aquino, Jr. (November 27, 1932 - August 21, 1983). It was inaugurated on August 21, 2001 during the 18th anniversary of Ninoy's assassination that happened last 1983. The inauguration was led by his wife, the late President Corazon "Cory" C. Aquino (January 25, 1933 - August 1, 2009) and was attended by various politicians and supporters of Ninoy Aquino.

Four gigantic photo panels will greet you upon entry to the Aquino Museum. The one nearest to the door is a portrait of Ninoy Aquino. The second are pictures from his assassination. The third is a touching photo of Cory Aquino overlooking Ninoy Aquino in his burial casket. The last panel is an image of Cory Aquino's swearing into office as the Philippine's 11th President.
The Aquino Museum is divided into various sections depending on political eras and are properly marked. The place is large enough for memorabilias to be displayed in a manner that visitors can move freely and comfortably read captions attached to pictures or items. I recommend taking your time to read what is written per photo to get to know the real Ninoy and Cory. Their lives can touch you.

The Polka dot trend :)

Years from now I know denim short shorts won't look good on me, but one thing for sure is that decades from now I'd still be wearing polka dots simply because they keep on making these big ‘comebacks’ almost every season,  any body can wear them from the little baby girl to the grand old ma, it suites all ages and all tastes. Better still, you can have them the way you like them, from you head band to shoes and everything else in between, polka dots can fit in anywhere.

The polka dot trend is here to stay, it might go down one season but it’s never going to go out.

trying to make the perfect "upo" shot, haha

Loose and Comfy :)

Clothes tell a lot about personality. Casual dressing is about style. Fashion means comfortable and intelligent smart dressing. You can’t wear all dresses on all occasions. I myself chooses loose fitting clothes and denims whenever am in a hurry. I just find it casual and yet chic.. hihi

preppy :)

These are the tiny things I love about my closet. I love them because tiny pieces is very light to wear (i mean it's easier to move with them), it's very comfy plus you don't get to sweat too much and when you pack your bag it can fit almost anywhere even it the tiniest pockets :)
